Overview

Every year we hold several sponsored events at the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum.

Model Train Displays

We have many Model Train Displays through out the year.

• Annual Model Train Display around the Holidays - December 1 and 2, 2007

• The Northern Virginia Ntrak club set up their modules in the community room every 3rd Sunday of the month, except December and January.

• H-O Model Train - During - Labor Day weekend (September 3 and 4) from 12-5 p.m.

Quarterly Forums

In keeping with the motto of our museum, To Preserve the Past for the Future, the Fairfax Station Forum, sponsored by the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum, provides a venue for the discussion of topics of local interest to the people of Northern Virginia - more info.

Civil War Tours

Our museum sponsors at least one, sometimes two, historic tours annually. They are led by our very knowledgeable volunteer historians. They are usually on a Saturday, and on many sites not accessible to the general public - - more info.
